What I'm Loving - April 2013

I'm loving that I got my flight over the pond booked! I'll be going to England, Ireland and Scotland this summer. I've spent countless hours staying up way too late at night researching for all the aspects of my trip and I'm pretty excited about the whole thing.

I'm loving this weather and going hiking. It's the perfect temperature where being outside at night is comfortable yet it's still not too hot to go hiking during the day. Plus, I just love that summer is coming.

I'm loving baseball and softball season. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down to Tucson for a Pac-12 (still feels weird saying 12) series before the season ends.

I'm loving the new Anthem Lights Covers album. I never thought I would like Taylor Swift's We Are Never Getting Back Together, but I can handle this version of it. And Best Thing is an awesome addition to the album.

I'm loving that I'm going to Boston! I just found out today that my company is going to be sending me there for an Android developers conference. I'm super excited about the conference itself for both personal and professional reasons, plus Boston is the top city on my list of US cities to visit. Perfection!

Summer 2013 is shaping up to be one of the busiest summers I've ever had. Should be interesting. =D

I just discovered this blog, so I'm not entirely sure what I think of it. I both agree and somewhat disagree with various parts of the post. My main reason for finding it interesting is that it's nice to find blog posts like this that aren't on "polished" websites because the opinions tend to be less "cleaned up" than what you see elsewhere.

I feel like I've got a theme going here, so I might as well stick with it. Carolyn McCulley wrote a great article that I enjoyed reading and it ties in well with the first link in this list.

Why Most Twenty Somethings Are Delusional
Donald Miller has a way of stirring things up with his blog and the buzz created by this post stuck out to me because of the target audience (twenty somethings). The post itself is harsh and there are countless blog posts around that (in my opinion) do way better justice to the issue than this one. But the buzz from this post, both in the comments and in the Christian blogosphere, has been intriguing to watch.

Spring/Summer Bucket List

As you all know, I enjoy making lists. I also greatly enjoy spring and summer, with the exception of it being allergy season. However, I tend to find that at the end of every summer it feels like everything has gone by too fast and I haven't accomplished half of the things that I thought I would. So this year I've decided to jump on the bandwagon of making a seasonal bucket list.
Some of the items are more likely to happen than others, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to accomplish them all. Actually making the list should help keep me on track. And in reality, I just had fun thinking of things I'd like to do this summer.
