Oh How Pinteresting

Another blogging trend that I'm seeing more frequently and that I enjoy in addition to the "What I'm Loving" posts is the "Oh How Pinteresting" ones. Type that into Google to see what I'm talking about. Basically, you highlight some of your favorite pins on Pinterest. What's funny is that both of these trends are supposed to go with Wednesdays, but I almost never post these things on a Wednesday. But since this is my first ever Pinteresting post, I guess I can do it on a Wednesday, right?

I'm a summer kind of girl, so I'll be sad when I can't wear all of my summer clothes anymore. But a comfy outfit like this one does seem appealing as we move through September still hitting triple digits.

I never wear bracelets because they drive me crazy since I'm typing all day, but if I ever do wear one I want it to be this one.

I used to think it actually existed, now I think it's just a matter of miscommunication. You can't get "stuck" in "the friend zone" if you can get out of it by just talking. This pin should probably go on my "Words" board, but the bottom part makes me laugh, so here it stays.

Pinterest Challenge

As most of you already know, I love Pinterest. I stumbled across it one day because of two of my favorite blogs, Young House Love and Bower Power. I now check Pinterest almost as often as I check Facebook, and I definitely spend more time on it than on Facebook.

Problem is, I rarely find time to actually work on any of the projects that I get inspired to do. And that's exactly why the author of Bower Power does a Pinterest challenge every season. To get people to actually do a project that they pinned on Pinterest. So this summer, I'm finally going to make it happen. The last challenge started off with me trying to get something done and only halfway doing it. This time I'm actually going to finish a whole project. I am!

I'd prefer to do a home decor project, so I started looking at my board for inspiration:

Everyone is supposed to post about their project by next Tuesday, so I'll be back in less than a week with what I've done. Hopefully this time I'm more successful!
